The project Time Lapse addresses the issue of time and space in photography. It's about different occupation of the same space, on two separate occasions in time.

These pictures were taken between early 2008 and late summer of 2010 in various locations in bathing areas along the Portuguese coast.

Each diptych consists of two photographs taken at exactly the same place with the same framing, one during the high season and another in the low season. The geographic coordinates, the name of the location and the time at which each image was taken, place the observer at that particular place, at separate times, turning the piece graphically almost in a poster.

These images are part of a larger collection that was already exhibited in the Palácio da Galeria/ Tavira Municipal Museum, Cultural Center of Cascais and the House of Culture of Brazil, in Brussels.
